Description / Synopsis
A glass serving dish made of amber glass. A note with the item reads: Dear Ann, Happy, happy birthday 1997! Thank you for all you do for Dad and me!! The two pieces here are from the family home in Dike, [Iowa]. (...) The twin relish dish is very special--used on very state occasions. The dish was given, as I remember hearing, to my Schultz grandparents at their silver wedding celebration in October 1898. Amber glass is quite valuable, the dish being special. Love, Mom--June 14, 1997. |
