Description / Synopsis
A glazed ceramic saucer with dark green trim. A note with the item reads: Hadleyware luncheon plate. This was Mom's [Helen Petersen Bentley's] first purchase of handcrafted place settings (early 1940s). In the 1980s she purchased several plates and other items (vases, bells, bowls, etc.) from her friend who had emigrated from Denmark to Edmonton, Suzanne Balson. |
