In February of 1996 the Boyle Food Bank was started by Rosalin Nahorny and Gwen Hall in the basement of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. They had lots of volunteers and donations. It has been serving people ever since. Fred Korbutt is now in charge.

When the Hall's bought the farm the house was in need of paint and the attic was full of bats. They found out that their log house was covered with dingy boards. They painted it, but painting didn't help the bat situation. When they arrived at the farm in the summer they found the well was dry
