Town of Athabasca Landing Miscellaneous Financial Statements, Bills and Receipts 1913 - 1954

Notes - This set of documents contains a variety of financial information on the Town of Athabasca Landing. The first document is a copy of a cancelled "coupon" written out to The Imperial Bank of Canada from The Town of Athabasca Landing in the amount of $1220.00. There are five other such cancelled "coupons" in various amounts. There is a report from the Public Works Department in 1913 giving their expenditures for the year, as well as their explanation of the expenditures. There are three written orders asking a Mr. Hogue to provide a Chief Davis with a can of coal oil and to charge it to the Town's account. There are account statements of the costs of the barrister used by the Town as a retainer, and for drawing up various by-laws, etc. In 1914, the Town asks the Deputy Minister of the Department of Education to send out new school forms because the originals were destroyed in a fire. There is a bill from the Government Telegraph service in the amount of $3.79. Three bills for Contractors' Plants and Builders' supplies from 1912, sold to the Town are also contained in these documents. A lengthy description of The Town's estimated expenditures for 1930, and a Receipts and Payment Statement for 1932 and 1954 are also found in these documents (22 pages)
