Description / Synopsis
Document - These documents contain the permits of a Mr. Charles Lindholm, registered trapper in the Athabasca area. One permit is dated valid from November 1, 1945 - May 31, 1946 and is valid for the "taking, killing, and destruction of wolves and coyotes". The other, valid from September 1, 1942 - May 31, 1943 grants Mr. Lindholm "the sole right to hunt, trap and kill fur-producing animals". Both permits state that the permits are only valid if the trapping is done on the registered trap-line. There is a very detailed land description of the trap-line location, as well as a blank form in which the trapper was to fill in with how many kills were made with the permit. The form was to be sent in within ten days of the permit's expiration (4 pages) |
