Description / Synopsis
Photograph - A log cabin in Athabasca, Alberta. It was probably built by Revillon Brothers and was located near the Athabasca Creameries building. It was the Van Dyke home in 1933 (Van Dyke was a butter-maker at the Creameries) and was later occupied by Cliff and Alice B. Donahue. C.A. Parker was the last owner in 1938 or 1939 after which it was probably sold to Jack Preece (after WWI) and torn down to be replaced by the Marketeria |
