Program - The programme for the 1927 Diamond Jubilee of Confederation held in Athabasca. Listed are the lyrics to "O Canada" and "The Maple Leaf." There is also a recitation of "Land of Our Birth", as well as "The National Anthem” and a collection of hymns. The order of the parade is listed in the programme. It also states that a bonfire and fireworks will occur at 9 pm. On Saturday, July 2 there was to be a picnic at Baptiste Lake, and on Sunday, July 3 there would be an open air church service at the Athabasca playground (4 pages) |
