Notes - Copies of the Aurora Theatre's show times and schedules from various years during the 1960s and 1970s. The pages contain show times as well as descriptions of the shows. Descriptions include the movie title, main actors and actresses, what age group the film is intended for, and a brief synopsis. There are also many advertisements located on these pages for local Athabasca businesses. Aside from a few exceptions, films tended to be shown only for two or three days at a time. Mary Poppins was one that was shown for four days in September of 1966. Movies were not shown on Sundays and matinees were only on Saturdays at 2:30pm. Weekday night and Saturday movies played at 8pm (8 pages) |
