Audio - Mrs. Nancy Appleby talks about her life in Athabasca starting with her arrival at Baptiste Lake in 1944. Mrs. Appleby discusses the first Klondike Night in the basement of the Athabasca Community Centre organized by her and Hazel Hall. Can-can dancers were part of the entertainment. She took can-can dancers to Edmonton in 1966 as part of the Kinsmen Klondike Karavan. She talks about piano lessons and the Search For Talent events in Athabasca, as well as her personal history (54:55 minutes)
