Mr. Richards discusses panning for gold in the river as well as the names of those who lived along the riverbanks. Many early inhabitants are mentioned by name and trade including; fur traders, H.B.C men (Hudson's Bay Company Employees), tradesmen, etc. Recreation is also discussed including: the football team, the Bill Day moose team and the curling rink.
