Description / Synopsis
This is a letter written to "fellow workers" by Charles F. Hopkins regarding the construction of the Methodist Hall in Athabasca in 1907. Hopkins is asking for additional financing to buy more supplies for the construction of the hall. His letters are filled with dimensions, quantities and prices of the materials needed. Mr. Hopkins also speaks of the prime location the hall has, being located on Strathcona Street, close to the hotel. The Church of England was building a new church at the time also, and planning to use the old one as a clubhouse (7 pages) |
