T h e r e are s e v e r a l v a l l e y s i n t h i s d i s t r i c t t h a t a r e e s p e c i a l l y a d a p t e d to
m i x e d f a r m i n g , the r o l l i n g n a t u r e of t h e m a f f o r d i n g e x c e l l e n t p a s t u r e for
c a t t l e . D u r i n g t h e g r e a t e r p a r t of the w i n t e r c a t t l e c a n f o r a g e f o r t h e m selves, it b e i n g necessary to feed I i a y o n I y p e r i o d i c a l l y .

O w i n g to the fact t h a t the g r e a t e r part of t h i s d i s t r i c t has been s u r v e y e d
o n l y w i t h i n the last couple of years, g r e a t o p p o r t u n i t i e s are offered to parties of s e t t l e r s d e s i r i n g to locate i n close p r o x i m i t y to one a n o t h e r , t h u s

f o u n d to be v e r y profitable.
T h e n e x t f e w y e a r s w i l l see g r e a t a c t i v i t y i n r a i l r o a d c o n s t r u c t i o n i n t h i s
d i s t r i c t . T h e A . & G . W . r a i l w a y t o t h e east of here is a l r e a d y u n d e i c o n s t r u c t i o n . O w i n g to the n u m b e r of i n c o m i n g set t Iers, a C o m m o d i o u s I m i n i g r a f i o n
